Super model Irina Fedotova appeared on the streets of London in a Dodi Al-Fayed baseball cap
Russian model Irina Fedotova, a cover star for Italian Vogue, Cosmopolitan, and a highlight of Missoni and Dolce & Gabbana shows, walked through London’s iconic Marylebone neighborhood, visiting Chiltern Firehouse—a favorite spot of celebrities like Bradley Cooper and Johnny Depp—wearing a provocative baseball cap with the words “USS ANNAPOLIS.” This same cap was once worn by Dodi Al-Fayed, sparking a flurry of gossip in Britain’s high society due to the lingering controversies surrounding the deaths of Princess Diana and her beloved.
Fedotova wore the baseball cap to express respect for the tragedy surrounding the Royal Family and to honor the memory of Mohamed Al-Fayed, who passed away in 2023. Dodi had worn this cap during his last holiday with the Princess of Wales in the south of France.
Appearing in this unique accessory, Fedotova stated, “Everyone is entitled to express their opinion and especially to express themselves through clothing in the way they feel is right.” She added, “Often, the hidden issues of the fashion world go unnoticed,” acknowledging the pressures women face in the industry. “The fashion industry can be an illusion, luring young women with its glamorous facade. Behind the scenes are sleepless nights, hard work, and constant competition,” Irina explained.
She emphasized the importance of keeping the fashion industry strong and thriving, ensuring that department stores like Harrods, once owned by Mohamed Al-Fayed, continue to support women who work in the industry.
