The hotel is within easy reach, just a 4 minute walk from Blackfriars.

Sea Containers London is a stylish hotel, the design heavily influenced by the golden age of transatlantic travel, with interiors by the renowned British designer Tom Dixon and his Design Research Studio. The hotel takes inspiration from 1920s cruise liners, featuring brass accents, curved walls, and a sleek maritime aesthetic. The lobby features a striking copper hull reception desk, and a giant ship-inspired installation adds to the immersive experience. While embracing vintage ocean liner influences, the design also incorporates contemporary elements, such as minimalist furniture and bold lighting. As well as the well stocked mini bar, slippers, fluffy robes, glasses and more were provided for your enjoyment.

We loved the suite which was spacious and thoughtfully designed. It featured open-plan layouts with distinct living and sleeping areas, complemented by large marble bathrooms equipped with both showers and freestanding bathtubs. We fell in love with the stunning view, a panoramic view of the River Thames and landmarks like St. Paul’s Cathedral from our balcony. The stand alone bath was deep and perfect to relax, a nice added touch would be if the hotel provided bubble bath especially in their premium rooms. We enjoyed the lush pillows on the kingsize bed and had a wonderful sleep with the black our curtains drawn. Using the WhatsApp service we were kindly given a slightly later check out allowing us more time to enjoy this luxurious room.

The hotel’s on-site restaurant, Sea Containers, provides a fantastic buffet and breakfast menu perfect for families and couples alike. Whilst the room service offers a range of food and much quicker than the allotted 40 minutes.

We have already booked a return visit to the lovely hotel, as the visit was simply delightful! Create beautiful memories as this stunning luxury hotel, we certainly did. If you fancy catching a film they have an on-site cinema, spa and a well equipped fitness room.
