TriForce 2nd Annual Short Film Festival at BAFTA, 8th December 2013

On the 8th December a host of popular faces arrived at the prestigious British Academy of Film and Television Arts, for the 2nd Annual TriForce Short film Festival.

The Tri-Force Short Film Festival (TFSFF) began in 2012 with the main objective to present quality short films as well as support, recognise and honour filmmakers creating films under 20 minutes. It is the brainchild of actors Jimmy Akingbola and Fraser Ayres.  The festival provides a free platform for up and coming film makers to showcase their work on the big screen, this festival now has a vast and loyal network of over 20,000 people. Due to the great success of last year, Tri-Force Short film festival has returned for their second year.

A host of celebrity guests and film makers arrived to flashing lights on the red carpet.  There was a fun atmosphere throughout the night, with guests and selected film crews awaiting the screenings with excitement.  After a lively drinks reception overlooking the beautiful Christmas lights of Piccadilly, the selected films were played.

The awards of ‘Best of Fest’ went to Sunny Boy and the ‘Audience Choice Award’ to Lost and Found.

Twitter was alive with positive tweets from this wonderful film festival, so no doubt many will return for the 3rd Annual TriForce Film Festival to experience a great event with a positive vibe.
