Yorkshire actress Gemma Oaten’s love for the arts started at a young age and she appeared in a national touring production of Evita, but the effects of bullying lead her to suffer from Anorexia from the tender age of 10.  After beating the disease at 22, her life took a turn upwards as she trained at drama school in London and not long after scored roles in national television.  Her first role on the small screen was in Doctors, then as the fan favourite Rachel in the award winning show Emmerdale.
