Drawing on almost a century of cooking expertise, Good Housekeeping is delighted to open the doors of its eagerly awaited GHI Cookery School, in time for the greatest feast of the year, Christmas.
Whether budding cooks want to get into the Christmas spirit and fill their home with the aroma of fresh baked treats, gain confidence in roasting turkey and all the trimmings or learn how to make delicious edible gifts, there will be a wide collection of inspiring and engaging cookery courses commencing on 17 November.
Developed from the Good Housekeeping Institute’s famous Triple-Tested recipes, a team of expert GHI chefs and culinary stars will teach consumers all the tips, tricks and tools required to create an unforgettably delicious meal.

The GHI Cookery School is designed around an evolving class schedule that blends seasonally topical recipes and food trends with the founding principles of cookery. Turkey and Trimmings
A workshop designed to build the home cook’s confidence in successful preparation and service of the heart of the traditional British Christmas meal – the turkey roast and trimmings. GH Triple-Tested Recipes: Turkey Breast with Sage Stuffing, Perfect Roast Potatoes, Sprouts with Chestnuts and Shallots, Classic Bread Sauce, Spiced Cranberry Sauce.

Courses will be hosted in the innovative GHI and once each class is finished, guests can enjoy the fruits of their labour dining in the Institute, or take it home to enjoy with friends or family. Guests will also receive a comprehensive pack containing the recipes learnt during the class.
Coming soon and alongside the cookery courses, the team of GHI chefs will run a number of themed demonstrations once a week in the GHI Demo Kitchen. A tutor will cook the recipes and explain the techniques in front of the group, who after observing will have the benefit of tasting the results. All attendees will take home recipes learnt during the demonstration course at the end of their session.
