LONDON EVENTS – London restaurant hosts bike surgery for participants of Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100
London’s renowned Manhattan Grill restaurant has teamed up with bike fit specialists Bespoke Cycling to host a bike surgery for those participating in the prestigious Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 on August 2nd.
Cycling experts will be on hand to thoroughly check participants’ bikes, ensuring they are up to the required standard for the ride. Bespoke Cycling will also set up a pop-up shop in the restaurant for last minute cycling accessory purchases.
Manhattan Grill is nestled beneath London Marriott Hotel, which sits on the dock of West India Quay on the route of Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100. Year on year cyclists flock to Canary Wharf’s Marriott Hotel on the weekend of the ride.
The restaurant is also offering a specially crafted menu for cyclists, with a slow-energy-releasing meal the evening before, a healthy pre-race breakfast, and a celebratory menu, which will be served the evening following the ride.
Cyclists can choose from juicy corn fed chicken, catch of the day, or a host of delicious pasta dishes to set them up for the 100 mile race the following day. A nutritious breakfast of fruits, nuts, yoghurt and bagels will be available the following morning from 4am, and a celebratory evening meal complete with Manhattan Grill’s signature USDA and Aberdeen steak dishes and a selection of tasty sides will help participants recover in style.
