Mondrian London is celebrating Christmas in characteristic style and hosting a glamorous 1920s themed bash in Rumpus Room for a New Year’s Eve to remember

Mondrian London at Sea Containers dazzled the London hotel scene when it opened last autumn on the South Bank. This Christmas, the Tom Dixon-designed hotel is offering a sophisticated Christmas package allowing guests to celebrate the festive season in style, as well as putting on a spectacular New Year’s Eve party in Rumpus Room, the hotel’s stunning rooftop lounge.

Guests can celebrate Christmas at Mondrian London with an overnight stay in one of the hotel’s stylish design-led bedrooms and suites; it’s unique positioning directly above the River Thames provides guests with stunning views across the City’s skyline. On Christmas Day, guests can indulge in a sumptuous Christmas lunch for two at Mondrian’s acclaimed farm-to-table restaurant, Sea Containers. A glass of champagne on arrival will set the mood, followed by a choice of starters including a Venison Ham Flatbread or Wood Roasted Celeriac Soup with Winter Truffles. A traditional Roasted Norfolk Turkey accompanied by all the trimmings is available as one of the options for the main course, followed by a decadent Mondrian Yule Log or a Spiced Plum Cobbler with Blood Orange Sorbet for dessert. Also included within the Christmas package is a full buffet breakfast for two.

New Year’s Eve at Mondrian London:

New Year’s Eve at Mondrian London will be a glittering affair, beginning with a transatlantic voyage to the 1920s in Mondrian’s glamorous rooftop lounge, Rumpus Room. Perched atop the iconic Sea Containers building, Rumpus Room will give guests unparalleled views of celebratory fireworks, exploding over London’s skyline. In characteristic 1920s style, an 8-piece Jazz band will perform live, followed by a DJ playing into the night. Mondrian has created a special package for those wishing to celebrate in style, including an overnight stay, two tickets to the 1920s themed New Year’s Eve party with guaranteed seating for two, a bottle of Perrier-Jouët Champagne, as well as a full buffet breakfast on New Year’s Day, creating an experience to remember.

For those wanting to celebrate New Year’s Eve in private, Mondrian London is also offering an ‘Ultimate View’ package for guests to book a handful of Superior or Studio rooms, located on Mondrian’s highest floors. From here, guests can watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks away from the crowds, with a bottle of champagne and canapés delivered directly to the door, and wake up to a full buffet breakfast in Sea Containers on New Year’s Day.
