MUSIC – Northeast Party House headline show at London’s The Garage

Australian band Northeast Party House, have already made quite a name for themselves in the UK, with sell out live shows last year at Seabright Arms and famed Club NME at Koko’s.

This May will see the band return to London, headlining a show at The Garage in Highbury & Islington as part of their wider UK and European tour.

The six piece from Melbourne combine rock, pop and electronic genres to compose epic tracks for their ever-growing fan base.

An early self-titled 4 track EP and digital singles, ‘Pascal Cavalier’ and ‘Stand Tall’, gave a taste of the band. Sparking record label interest Northeast Party House were signed to Australian independent label, Stop Start Music. After a period working on new material and live performances, the band released their debut album ‘Any Given Weekend’ in 2014.

Opening track ‘The Haunted’ – released as a single went straight to high rotation on Australian youth radio network Triple J and is currently sitting at over a million streams on Spotify.

Second single ‘Sick Boy’ shared similar success with over radio 100 plays taking the bands total exposure on YouTube to over half a million and reaching over 30 000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

With four national tours of Australia (including sell out shows) under their belt, the band culminated 2015 with their international debut. The band performed shows in LA, NY, London, Germany and Prague.
