This May, luxury retailer Harvey Nichols opens Project 109 – a brand new concept space at their Knightsbridge store. Housing the very latest lifestyle offerings across fragrance and grooming, technology, sunglasses, jewellery, accessories and giftables, the unique 2,400 square feet space is the final room to open in the new menswear department which launched in April 2016.

The new concept space will feature:

  • Contemporary barbershop and grooming space offering a selection of traditional barber services and treatments, open from 8am-11pm Monday – Saturday, 11am-8pm Sunday
  • The Wallpaper* Bar + Kitchen at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge – a partnership between the luxury retailer and the foremost design and lifestyle magazine to create a contemporary Bar + Kitchen, open from 8am-11pm Monday – Saturday, 11am-8pm Sunday
  • Dedicated installation area showcasing an ever-changing curation of brand pop-ups and immersive customer experiences, launching in collaboration with HYPEBEAST
  • A new Seville Street entrance that directly accesses the Lower Ground Floor, complete with a floor-to-ceiling digital screen showcasing a host of specially-created fashion films

The edit of brands within Project 109 sit alongside a wealth of dedicated services, from an independent UK-based AONO barbershop offering grooming services and treatments, to a contemporary kitchen serving an all-day menu, that transforms into an intimate bar in the evening offering cocktails, wines, spirits and beers, alongside a selection of light plates. A specially-designed installation area will showcase a calendar of brand pop-ups, collaborations and immersive experiences for our customer, forming the centrepiece of Project 109. Our expert style advisors will be on hand to offer exceptional service.

AONO

New to London, AONO (Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned) is an independent UK-based barbershop and urban streetwear brand launching at Harvey Nichols this May. A selection of grooming services, from an express crop and beard or moustache trim to a full service wash, cut, style, wet shave & complimentary product will be available from 8am-11pm Monday to Saturday, 11am – 8pm Sunday within the flagship store.

Sitting alongside AONO is a dedicated grooming and fragrance space with a wealth of new-in brands including Czech & Speake, Hanz de Fuko, Neville, Anthony and Derm Ink. Our fragrance edit features brands such as exclusive Memo, Maison Francis Kurkdjan, Creed, Eight & Bob and By Kilian.

WALLPAPER* BAR & KITCHEN at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge

Luxury retailer Harvey Nichols and Wallpaper*, the foremost design and lifestyle magazine, are launching a partnership between the two iconic brands to create a contemporary Bar + Kitchen. The Wallpaper* Bar + Kitchen residency at Harvey Nichols will sit within Project 109.

Working in collaboration with Harvey Nichols, Wallpaper* inspired and curated key elements to ensure a thoroughly modern interpretation of the space. Through to menu design and selection of staff uniforms, and incorporating Wallpaper* magazine and Wallpaper* City Guides, the collaboration creates a compelling destination for discerning and engaged consumers. The partnership will expand to include co-hosted events and installations which tie in with Harvey Nichols seasonal or Project 109 themes.

The Wallpaper* Bar + Kitchen at Harvey Nichols features an all-day dining menu with a delicious range of breakfast and lunch options available to enjoy from early in the morning.

In the evening the space will transform into an intimate bar, where customers will be able to order cocktails, wines, sparkling wines and craft beers, and a selection of light dishes. The cocktail menu is a celebration of serves from some of the World’s 50 Best Bars, with mixologists from around the globe putting forward their recipes for Harvey Nichols customers to enjoy. Guests will be able to try the Grocery & Grog Old Fashioned from the Dead Rabbit in New York by Jack McGarry; the Scented Negroni from Dry Martini in Barcelona by Javier de las Meulas; the Paper Anniversary by Rémy Savage at Little Red Door in Paris, along with cocktail recipes from others. All of the cocktails featured on the menu are from mixologists who work at bars featured in Drinks International’s World’s 50 Best Bars 2015 list.

The Wallpaper* Bar + Kitchen will be located on LG 1 in Project 109. The space will be open from 8am-11pm on Mondays to Saturdays, and 11am-8pm on Sundays.

INSTALLATION SPACE

A first for Harvey Nichols menswear, our dedicated installation space showcasing an ever-changing curation of brand pop-ups and immersive customer experiences will be available throughout the year. To mark the opening, Harvey Nichols have collaborated exclusively with HYPEBEAST on the 10th anniversary of their launch to exhibit HYPEBEAST Kicks – a curation of rare and often unseen sneakers from the past 10 years. Printing Live will follow – a nod to limited and rare tees, they have teamed up with brands including Maharishi and Gasius to offer limited runs, available only instore at the pop up space.

HYPBEAST Kicks & Printing Live runs from 11 May – 3 June (Printing Live takes place Saturdays only)

LIFESTYLE & TECHNOLOGY

Harvey Nichols’ first dedicated lifestyle area that will offer exclusive and new in lines from homeware brands including Norden, Haekels, Mark + Fold and Skultuna, through to luxury tech brands such as KEF, Native Union and Master & Dynamic and literature from Assouline, Rizzoli and Clutch.

ACCESSORIES

Our accessories lounge will house a selection of the latest premium brands including the first men’s collection from Eddie Borgo – exclusive to Harvey Nichols, LA-based jewellery brand Black Dakini – exclusive to Harvey Nichols, luxury watches from Sekford, Suunto and Shinola and premium leather goods from Swedish brand Tarnsjo Garveri. The sunglasses edit includes an exclusive collection from Cubbits, new in Tomas Maier, the first eyewear collection from Dunhill, Dior Homme, Tom Ford, Persol and style exclusives from Ross & Brown.

APPAREL

A specially-curated t-shirt section will accommodate contemporary brands including Carrots, Mood NYC, Passarella Death Squad, Grind London and Crossed Swords. AONO streetwear will also be retailed within the space.
