ESCAPE LONDON – the majestic AYANA Resort and Spa Bali

The majestic award-winning AYANA Resort and Spa Bali is a world-class 5 star destination resort situated in Jimbaran Bay, just 10 kilometers from Bali airport. AYANA’s sister hotel RIMBA Is only a free complimentary shuttle away and all their facilities are free to use. RIMBA is only a couple of years old and it is also a sight to behold with its modern look and stylish glamorous feel.

No review will do the Ayana resort justice as it is more than a resort, it’s an experience you will never forget and always want to revisit.

We celebrated our honeymoon in August 2016, and were greeted with Hawaiian cultured flower wreaths, cocktails and more flowers and cake in our room. We booked the club lounge package which I highly recommend as all fine dining breakfast, lunch, dinner and late night refreshments are all inclusive as well as huge drink selection including some amazing cocktails. It is located near the lobby and the staff are the friendliest kindest staff I’ve ever encountered. They made our stay so special and never stop smiling. AYANA reminds me of Disney land but it has so much more charm and culture but still feels magical.

There are 15 fantastic restaurants and bars including the famous Rock Bar; exclusive private beach; 11 swimming pools; world-class Spa with Aquatonic Seawater Therapy Pool and Spa on the Rocks treatment; golf-putting and fitness center; and complimentary WiFi in public areas.

Some of our highlights were having a romantic 5 course meal at the love shack RIMBA hotel with our own private outdoor booth with soulful music decorated with flowers and candles. We had a private butler and it was the most romantic meal we’ve ever had overlooking the green RIMBA forest. The food was exquisite and the chef came out for a chat and some pictures.

I also recommend the Hozen restaurant at the AYANA. We had teppanyaki and it was hilarious the chefs really put on a memorable acrobatic performance and even let us crack a few eggs and catch a couple dishes of rice. We laughed so much it hurt.

The private beach at AYANA is simply Devine, clear tropical water surrounded by white beautiful sand. It was quiet and there were beds available all the time. You can order food and drinks from the beach. We went most days here as it was so peaceful.

We booked an afternoon trip to the AYANA spa which has a huge outdoor aquatonic infinity pool. If you’ve never tried it I highly recommend this treatment as you will feel so refreshed and it will get your blood flowing. It’s an unusual experience, you get a powerful water massage on every body part while in the pool and can feel the warm tingle sensation penetrate your muscle tissue.

We visited the RIMBA hotel which is a 5 minute free shuttle from AYANA to watch the spectacular Balinese dance under the moonlight. The Dance was extremely soulful and had a deep sense of spirituality which was very moving. After our meal the audience were invited on stage with cast for pictures which was another lovely AYANA touch.

If this wasn’t enough, the sensational world famous ROCK BAR is also at the AYANA. People from around Bali come to visit the ROCK BAR and when you see it you will understand why. Built on rock it has the most stunning sunsets and the cocktails are out of this world. A great place to chill and listen to the waves crash or sip cocktails while listening to the funky DJ. As a guest you also recieve priority entry in to the ROCK BAR.
