LONDON BARS – McGuigan Wines and Grind & Co team up to offer Londoners a free glass of Aussie wine

On Thursday 26th January, award-winning Australian wine brand McGuigan Wines will be partnering with Melbourne-inspired Grind & Co, to offer a free glass of McGuigan wine in celebration of Australia Day.
For one day only, visitors to Shoreditch Grind or London Grind can claim their free glass by saying “Cheers to Aussie Day” at the bar, or by showing that they have tweeted the phrase to @McGuiganWinesUK. In true Aussie style, the offer is open to everyone – not just those from down under – giving all Londoners the chance to brush off the January blues and toast the Australian summer in style.
Behind the bar will be three of McGuigan’s iconic Black Label wines from South East Australia – a white, a red and a rosé – of which the Black Label Red is the number one selling red wine in Australia. For those who fancy a wine on the go, the team will be handing out a limited number of miniature bottles to morning visitors to take away and enjoy later in the day.
The McGuigan Black Label range is renowned for its versatility, so whether white, red or rosé, the wines will be the perfect accompaniment to drink alongside one of Grind’s delicious small plates. Visitors can enjoy salt pepper squid paired with a fruity Chardonnay, or a Grind scotch egg washed down with a full-bodied red.
