LONDON HOTELS – Enjoy all London has to offer with a quirky hotel on the edge of Leicester Square!

Located right on Charing Cross Road, Assembly London is the perfect hotel for stopping in for a great nights sleep, and going straight back out for all that London has to offer! Backing onto Leicester Square, the hotel makes for great proximity to one of London’s liveliest and well known hot spots. From there it is only 5 minutes to Soho and the same in the other direction to Trafalgar Square.

Despite the wonderfully central location the noise levels around the hotel are surprisingly minimal, as it doesn’t face directly into the square. The hotel is not to be missed with large neon pink signs that give you some clue to the quirky interior design. Inside it is dimly lit with minimal décor, the neon accents and feature of rabbit figurines give the space a relaxed and youthful feel.

Out of four room options I stayed in a Pad, which was luxuriously roomy. Other room options appear cosier, which reinforces the hotels appeal as a perfect place to stop over for city explorers. I had a generously sized double bed, and sofa bed at the other end of the room that could comfortably sleep another person. The bed was wonderfully comfortable; I couldn’t imagine a better place to get some sleep after a London night out. Luckily I was not left lonely in my room, with my own neon pink rabbit to keep me company! The room décor is comfortable and sleek, whilst still remaining playful to match the rest of the hotel.

The bathroom was spotless and featured a shower head (my favourite!), and was the perfect size to get ready for a night on the town. The only possible downside to the room was that there weren’t as many amenities as could have been expected, for example there was no TV or telephone as you might expect to find in a hotel room.

In the morning I headed upstairs for breakfast to the impressive B&H Garden Room Restaurant. The space completely lives up to its name and is beautifully decorated with houseplants both inside and out. The botanical theme makes the restaurant feel cosy and homely and was the perfect place to watch the rain fall on London’s skyline.

The restaurant service was impressively quick and friendly, I was offered tea and coffee the moment I sat down which was much appreciated. The breakfast buffet selection was quite minimal, with a selection of pastries and cereal, fruit, cold meat and cheeses. I can only imagine how great the views are at night from this wonderful restaurant and would love to come back and find out.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Assembly London Hotel, it is the perfect place for anyone wanting to get the most out of the city. The quirky and minimal design of the rooms can offer a great nights sleep for those wanting to stop over in central London and get straight back out there to continue exploring. The staff at the hotel are extremely welcoming and eager to assist you in your visit, which makes for the cherry on top of a great stay!

For city explorers and all nighters, Assembly Hotel London is the perfect place to catch some much needed shut eye and take in an impressive skyline view.
