PopGems Academy is a performing arts and dance school based in Beckenham, Bromley, and was established in 2011 by professional performers, Gem Allen Khan and Junade Khan.

Gem trained at the Sylvia Young Theatre Dance School, her credits include a UK Arena Tour, worldwide performances, TV presenting, and being the UK Vocalist for 90’s hit pop group AQUA. Junade trained at East 15 Drama School and his credits include Waking the Dead, Hollyoaks, Game of Thrones, plus various theatre tours.

Aimed at ages 1 to 16, you’ll learn the foundations of working in the world of show business in order to further your career, or simply to enjoy as a hobby and build confidence. Our drama, singing, musical theatre and street dance classes, will help you build confidence and achieve your best possible performance with the help of our fantastic teachers.

Many of our PopGems Academy students have been lucky enough to work professionally appearing various music videos, TV shows, commercials, feature films & theatre. Recent credits of our students include commercials for Lego, Orange, John Lewis, McDonalds, and the Ted Lasso TV series.

PopGems Academy are approaching their 10 year anniversary coming up in November, and have been nominated for 3 awards for the ‘What’s on 4 kids’ awards.
