LAKRIS by BÜLOW

An innovative and original novel in literary fiction told through a series of e-mails and WhatsApp messages. Countdown to a killing deals with the fragility of the mind along with the many-layered complexities that accompany it. I enjoyed the short summation by the author at various intervals, a good branch out from the norm.
The characters are well crafted, and the author stays true to their personalities throughout, the setting is contemporary; packed with humour and heartache and will have the reader laughing and at times saddened.
