LONDON EATERIES – Enjoy magnificent views across London and outstanding food at the Aviary Rooftop Restaurant and Bar in London

As soon as you step out of the lift to the roof for the Aviary Rooftop Restaurant and Bar, which is situated inside The Montcalm Royal London House on the 10th floor, you are met with a pretty restaurant and a buzzing atmosphere. From gorgeous views to signature cocktails and everything in between, it’s the perfect place for virtually any occasion. 

The aviary themed art décor restaurant has a large open bar with plenty of bar tenders to make the perfect cocktail for you. They have designed a lovely selection of signature cocktails to suit everyone’s taste, we would recommend the Indigo, which includes rum, Cointreau, pineapple juice, champagne and more. Our friendly waiter Daniel was happy to share advise on the menu and drinks selection.

The venue is beautifully designed with pretty wooden tables with velvet gold and blue chairs, large gold ceiling lights and framed photos of birds throughout. Alongside the stunning design of the restaurant, there is a welcome lounge area with maroon and orange accent chairs perfect to enjoy a tipple with friends.

We couldn’t wait to try the Oysters and they certainly disappoint; they were plump, silky smooth and a perfect start to a lovely romantic meal in one of London’s premiere restaurants.  We paired the Oysters with the lobster cocktail crumpet, which boasts delicious lobster crowned over a tasty crunchy crumpet. For our main we plumped for the halibut which was cooked to perfection alongside chili garlic broccoli. Our desert was a well-presented cheese board, the perfect end to a lovely meal.

The pièce de résistance is the stunning rooftops with beautiful views, even on the rainy evenings you can still see across London and take in the romantic views with your friends or loved one. 

This fabulous luxurious bar and restaurant oozes romance but could be equally enjoyed with family or friends. You are sure to create memories at this stunning venue but it is the delicious cuisine that will keep you coming back for more.
