FASHION – Stay stylish all winter with Georgia King’s new collection
Mother and daughter duo Sarah and Georgia King launch their debut collection for Autumn and Winter 14.
Selling exclusively through Georgia King’s online e-boutique, the label was founded in Greenwich early 2014.
Encompassing 33 capsule pieces including dresses, jackets, trousers, knitwear and tops, Georgia King London offers a complete and elegant wardrobe. Created to provide women with a signature style, each piece is limited edition and exclusively ‘Made In London’ using locally sourced luxe fabrics and trims.
The collection offers feminine tailoring which is both wearable and flattering. The brand focuses on classics, pieces that can be worn season after season whilst keeping fresh with the season’s hottest colours and shapes. Hero pieces include the ‘Arianne’ dress, a stunning long
sleeve dress with rouched collar and flattering ribbon belt, available in burnt orange, blue and classic black. The LBD makes an impact with ‘Lily May’ dress featuring appliqué gold print, carefully designed to elongate the figure.
Sarah and Georgia King have over 10 years fashion buying and retail experience between them having previously held management and buying positions at the UK’s major retailers. Their combined knowledge of every aspect of retail from buying and merchandising to store management made the launching of own label Georgia King London a natural step for the pair.
Sarah comments: “We are so excited to finally launch our own brand offering unique pieces that are both elegant and reliable. The collection was designed to be worn together but we hope our customers will include Georgia King London into their lifestyle, complementing their sense of style whilst still exciting them with something fresh.”
Their vision is clear:
Georgia continues: “We don’t focus on fashion as ‘fast moving fads’ that come and go. We believe that true fashion is a sense of style. All our energy goes into designing classic cuts and detailed, beautiful trims that make an item unique.”
Georgia King London also offer a complementing jewellery collection that features quintessentially British charms like umbrellas and delicate raw stones in seasonal tones including dark navy and butterscotch. The jewellery collection is also created locally.
