There are many things you will love about the Skylounge bar at the Double Tree Hilton hotel in Tower Hill, such as breathtaking views across London’s beautiful city and cocktails to die for, but what you don’t expect are the amazing surprises this trendy bar has in store for you.
The actual bar is right on trend, amazing decor, cool lit up statues, a funky house DJ, excellent mixologists, stunning views of the Tower of London and even a saxophone player wondering round delighting your ears with that sexy saxo sound. You could indeed spend the whole evening with a classy crowd, in an electric buzzing atmosphere and I recommend you do so, but as those summer nights draw near and the evenings are warm enough to tempt you outside, just staying in the main bar will do you a disservice!

As you step onto the rooftop deck, it isn’t just the stunning views that catch your eye. The decor is simply stunning, with a beach surrounding the exterior, a cute little lighthouse crowning the end of the bar, a beautiful beach bar and a full size bowling alley! You are transported to a summer beach, right in the heart of London and you can’t help but feel as if you have been happily lost on a beach!

It isn’t just the décor that has been well thought out, the cocktails are to die for and the camomile infused snow queen vodka, with lemon white champagne, grapefruit and pomegranate gives a welcome fruity kick. Lanson champagne is served by the glass and the array of food is available that creates a perfect match to the beach feel. Succulent pieces of lobster wrapped in a soft, yet crispy roll, fried courgette dipped in breadcrumbs and my favourite, mouth watering lobster mac and cheese!
The Nantucket Beach club is London’s rooftop beach, it is funky, innovative, fun and well worth a visit. Enjoy a wonderful evening with a very cool crowd, delicious drinks and outstanding views.
