LONDON EVENTS – Merlin Events launches Riverside Rooms at County Hall

Merlin Events London has launched their new events venue at County Hall on London’s South Bank. Their new venue, The Riverside Rooms, has view over the most famous of London’s touristic attractions, the London Eye and Houses of Parliament. After a VIP after-dark tour of the London Dungeons, Heart London Magazine was invited to their new events venue for a fancy dinner provided by Food by Dish.

The new venue has a stunning interior as well as a gorgeous view over the Thames. The rooms are big enough for the larger events, however can also made intimate and cozy by furnishing the place. For our night, the venue was decorated with 8 large round tables, with large chandelier table candles. The room felt intimate and would be perfect for a wedding reception. At the back of the room was a small podium, which would be a great place for a band of some sort.

Also the food by Food by Dish, was strangely tasty. The combinations used were a little bit controversial but were perfectly blended aromas. Starting with canapés the sweet looking savoury bites included Eton mess pizza, raspberry macaroons with foie gras parfait and hot dog éclairs. Afterwards was a two course meal of boned roast guinea fowl with baby spring vegetable and duchess potatoes, followed by crème brûlée with a raspberry and basil salad and raspberry consommé.

If you want to throw a classy but still stylish event, The Riverside Rooms are perfect for the small and larger scaled events.
