LONDON EVENTS – A Sunday afternoon singles event, with a twist
Fifty:Fifty is a brand new Sunday afternoon singles event with a twist. The first event takes place on Sunday 13th December 2015 at Work, 3 Chapel Market, Angel Islington N1 9EZ from 3pm ‘til late.
Created to meet the demand for a face to face singles experience, and for those bored by the anonymity of virtual dating, Fifty:Fifty requests each person brings a single friend of the opposite sex, ensuring a perfect balance of women and men. All those wanting to attend will need to register in advance via: http://work.dj/5050
Guests are greeted at the venue with a complimentary glass of prosecco or bottle of beer. After all the guests have arrived, a quick-fire round of speed dating takes place. All those present will then have an opportunity to spend more time with the date of their choice. Fifty:Fifty’s resident love/life coaches Julia Keller, and Richard Marchand, will be on hand with tips for both genders. Work will then turn into a regular club night featuring guest DJs.
At 9pm, the host will choose a ‘star’ couple, and they’ll be sent to an exclusive restaurant in London for an all-expenses-paid meal.
Over the next 12 months, Fifty:Fifty will pick a superstar couple who will be flown out to the Bahamas to stay in luxury accommodation for a week.
James Robertson, owner of Work and the promoter of Fifty:Fifty, said: “I’ve been meaning to put on Fifty:Fifty for over 20 years. But, now I have a nightclub, I’ve got the perfect excuse. The idea of bringing a single friend of the opposite sex means that they’ll always be the perfect ratio of men and women and you’ve always got someone to talk to when you arrive at the club.”
