LONDON EATERIES – Cornish Tiger Invite You in from the Cold with New Lunch Menu
Taking the helm of the formidable Battersea Rise, Cornish Tiger has become the ultimate neighborhood gem of South London; an inviting hideaway serving delicious food in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Now, amid the rush of Christmas shopping, combined with the darkness of London in Winter, Cornish Tiger have created the ultimate three course menu to heat up the colder months.
Fresh from winning a runner-up spot for Best Sunday Lunch in the Observer Food Awards, and with a varied and consistently innovative menu, Cornish Tiger are offering a sumptuous two courses for £9.95, or a hearty three courses for £11.95, from 12pm–7pm, Monday to Friday.
Highlights include the Celeriac and chestnut soup with homemade bread, Pan seared belly of pork, apple puree and cumin beetroot chutney; Chicken with preserved lemons and olive tagine with steamed couscous; Vegetarian options include a Broccoli and stilton quiche with toasted hazelnuts, and An indulgent dessert of Cinnamon brulee and ginger shortbread and Vanilla rice pudding with poached damsons; not available a la carte but exclusive to the!set menu only.
The hot cocktail range, also added to the Cornish Tiger repertoire this Christmas, includes the Smokey Bourbon Chai Tea, the classic hot Toddy, or the Chocolate Aztec with warming chili for that always essential cocoa kick.
Amid the chaos of Battersea and Clapham as the shopping season descends, Cornish Tiger stands at the forefront for superior food and irresistible comfort this Winter.
Also, following the success of last year’s end of year feast, Cornish Tiger are once again at hand to help you celebrate the finale of 2015 as deliciously as you can; with a sumptuous New Year’s Eve 7 course dinner available for £60 (£90 for wine-pairing menu) – the perfect way to finish the year!
