BEAUTY – Get perfect eyelashes in your lunch break at Lash Bar
Eyelashes have always been key to framing the eyes and what woman doesn’t want long beautiful thick lashes? But like most women with my barely there lashes and not enough time or patience to apply false lashes daily, it’s no wonder eyelash extensions have become so popular. I expressed my concerns about the procedure and the overall look that I was going for and after this initial conversation the process started. I was ecited and a little apprehensive based on some horror stories I’ve heard in the past, but once I lay down I started to feel more relaxed. They started with a tape that is applied under the eyes and am asked to keep my eyes shut for the next 60-90 minutes. The technician applied the beautiful lashes one by one, she was so gentle I hardly felt a thing. To be honest the whole thing just felt like someone tickling my eyelashes. Once it was completed I was anxious to see the finished results and I have to say I was completely stunned by my new lashes. Full, long but natural looking lashes that reminded me of all those mascara advertisements I’ve been envious over for so long. But like any beauty treatment there is some up keep to the extensions. You cant get them wet for the first 24 hours, any product that is used around the eyes needs to be oil free and also if mascara is used, it can’t be a waterproof formula. I’m 100% addicted and can’t imagine my life before getting them done.
