BARS – The Amicable Society of Lazy Ballerinas
This chic restaurant and wine bar has just opened at the beginning of this year and is placed in a grand old bank building on Fleet Street. It’s a luxurious, personal spot to visit with your colleagues after a long day of work, or for a special get-together with your friends.
The decor was really nice, it is bright, airy and not loud like many nearby places, as well as the peaceful and refreshing atmosphere, just the perfect environment to have a relaxing time. The welcoming Service adds to this enjoyable experience and the waiters and waitresses are experienced and knowledgeable, enabling them to advise you well on food and wine options. You can look forward to a great wine collection to choose from.

Whatever kind of wine you like, they will have it ready for you! And if you can’t make a decision on what wine to choose, there is the option of ordering 3 small glasses of different wines. I tried red wines from California, Australia and France and each one took me on a different journey through paradise.
I recommend this wine tasting option in combination with adding the 3 choices of food. The food, made with simple, quality ingredients, is delicious and beautifully presented and please don’t miss out on the Goats Cheese Pannacotta. It was outstanding! The portions of food are small, however they are just the right amount to not distract you from your wine tasting journey, and only cost £20 for the 3 plates together.
This wine bar not only offers the upstairs experience, but also has the Justice and the Liberality room for you to explore downstairs. These private rooms are ideal for a boardroom style meeting, a private dinner or any kind of celebratory occasion.
I had a wonderful experience at Lazy Ballerina and definitely recommend that you stop in to try a selection of wine.
