Royal. Authority. Presence. The first three words that come to mind when you see a bottle of Glengoyne Legacy Chapter 2 – Whisky. Coming in an orange and black striped package with the significant logo in the middle with the legendary logo, Glengoyne Legacy Chapter 2 Whisky is fit for a king. Its honey coloured whisky appearance leaves you in a trance as it truly glows. The aroma of the whisky reminds of a good old sundae. You are treated to a tropical dream, the smells of vanilla, banana, peaches, coconut, maple syrup which are rounded up by a hint of lime and mint come into play. The palate is creamy and has a gentle spice kick and the hints of sweet oak and dates rounds up the finish. A glass of this whisky with ice is just what the doctor ordered.

Kinahan’s Kasc Project Whiskey
Kinahan’s Kasc project Whisky is DEFINITELY a real one. It’s deep brown colour reminds you of a never-ending fountain of chocolate, you can see the richness of the drink just by looking at its appearance. The aromas of red plum, gentle hints of pear, tropical fruits and the spicy kick of the mediterranean caramel spice stimulates your nose buds, enticing you to take a sip of this luscious whisky. The notes of the vanilla charred ripe mango are part of its palate which is rounded off with sweet lingering perfume for sun-dried raisins and fig. The warm nutty flavour of the nutmeg, citrus orange, spicy clove, the candied honeycomb and bittersweet pineapple dance in your mouth once you endeavour the liquor. It is truly indulgent and EVERYONE should experience this drink at least once but let’s be honest, it would quite a few times as the taste is out of this world!

If you are looking for a rather sweet tasting whisky with a subtle spiciness and fresh fruitless, Jameson Black Barrel Blended Irish Whiskey should be on your list. With it’s golden honey appearance, the Soft barrel-char aromas, along with sweet barley and cereal are easy and sublet on the nose which is followed by a very well rounded palate. It is very soft, smooth, a precise spiciness along with the vigorous arms of fresh fruit come into play with a very well balanced finish. A popular brand offering an affordable fully flavoured blend, what more could you ask for?

The Sexton Single Malt Irish Whiskey
One thing that will stand out about The Sexton Single Malt Irish Whiskey is the design of the bottle. The colour of the bottle is black, symbolising of mystery, power, elegance, and sophistication. Those words do definitely ring true as you see a picture of a skull with a top hat on top of the cap of the whistle bottle and in the front, definitely oozing power and authority. The bottle is smaller than most bottles but it packs a punch, in its weight and also in its taste. The Autumnal notes of dark chocolate, marzipan with hints of dried spices introduce itself when you pour a bit into glass and the citrus zest Citrus zest, honeycomb, mounds of oaky spices are accompanied by the persisting sweet honey with aged oak. An Irish whisky with a sherry twist, it is absolutely fantastic for a single malt and for the price, it is definitely worth it.

Cotswolds Distillery Single Malt Whisky is the first single malt whisky from the Cotswolds Distillery. It’s notes of honey and butterscotch layered with light fruits (peaches & apricots), a hint of marzipan lean towards a fresh fruity tropical tasting whisky, with its strong palate of tannin-rich malt, oils and dark sugar with lots of spice, caramelised Seville orange marmalade nicely well rounded with Long and resinous, with dark red fruits and a hint of treacle. Honestly, it is such a delight!
