We enjoyed a spacious sea view room with a comfortable king size bed and a lovely lounge area that is facing the melodic water, so you can literally sit and stare at it for as long as you fancy. There certainly is something hypnotic about the sea, although you can forget this when you spend too much time in the city. The nautical theme continued into our bedroom with a cute round port hole window, the blackout blinds also allow you to enjoy a restful night. Listening to the sea in the tastefully decorated sea view room has a calming effect and to top it off, the room also had a private balcony with café seating. We loved the quaint touch of a little bottle filled with small pebbles as a do not disturb sign.

The bathroom boasts fluffy towels, a bath and shower and complimentary toiletries. Well thought out amenities are available for your enjoyment including fluffy dressing gowns, slippers, delicious biscuits and an array of tea and coffee to suite your taste.

The restaurant boasts a wonderful selection available for both adults and children and offers floor to ceiling windows to allow you to take in the pretty sea view. The staff are friendly, and the food is fabulous, the succulent fresh oysters and the fresh hake are sure to make your mouth water. Breakfast is included and equally divine, I plumped for the salmon which certainly didn’t disappoint. During the day the beautiful sea looks stunning and is a lovely view to take in as you dine for breakfast.

If you fancy a walk, then venture onto the beautiful plains by the sea where you can be met with equally beautiful scenery.
