Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey is a unique and controversial take on the much-loved classic children’s book, a live-action slasher film that sees a cast of young actors terrorized by the feral Pooh and Piglet. Director, Rhys Frake-Waterfield elected to adapt the story into a terrifying tale; with a micro-budget of fewer than $100,000, the horrifying film has gone on to earn over $4 million at the box office.

In one of the leading roles, Amber plays Alice, who is terrorized and kidnapped by Pooh and Piglet, with terrifying consequences.

Amber’s talent has landed her leading roles in over 100 productions, including 23 British feature films (The Seven, Demons at Dawn, Heropanti 2, Vikings: Battle of Heirs) and numerous award-winning short films, and comedy productions.

On filming one of the most talked about films of the year, Amber says: “There have been reactions from excitement to outrage, but I think it’s an amazing and unique concept; as soon as I read the script, I knew I wanted to be involved. I don’t see it as ruining people’s childhoods; I think it’s a wonderful opportunity to redefine these characters for adults to enjoy in a horror setting. It was one of my favourite filming experiences, with a wonderful crew, beautiful locations and a sense that we were filming something special”.
