Ricky Rayment is known for being one of the popular stars of the award winning TV show The Only Way is Essex.  What is not known is that his beloved grandfather Richard Rayment suffered from Parkinson’s and sadly passed away in 2003.  It is the loss that has lead this good looking TV star to put his name to the wonderful organisation The Cure Parkinson’s Trust.  Not only has Ricky been announced as an ambassador for the charity, on August 17th he is taking the daring challenge of skydiving to raise money for this worthy organisation.

Ricky shares “I’m delighted to be supporting the Cure Parkinson’s Trust. Whilst I am excited to be participating in the Sky Dive, but is slightly scary.  It is for an amazing cause I will definitely be taking it all in my stride! Parkinson’s is a truly devastating disease, which affects thousands of people around the UK including my Grandad who was sadly diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 1993 and passed away in 2003. I am looking forward to raising much needed funds with the Ricky Rayment team to help find a cure and hope everyone gets behind me on this!”

Ricky will be undertaking a Sky Dive on August 17th and donations can be made via his Just Giving page, all donations will be given to the charity.
