LONDON EVENTS – Fashion, film, food and fun in Victoria SW1
To celebrate Victoria’s current makeover, the shops, restaurants, cultural hotspots and entertainment destinations of SW1 are opening up their doors for one special weekend. From Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th October, Inside Out Victoria will give Londoners an exclusive ‘backstage’ view of everything on offer in and around Victoria.
Some of the biggest names from across Victoria’s thriving music, art, food and fashion scenes will be taking part, including St James Theatre, Curzon Victoria, and The Vincent Rooms. The exciting line-up of events includes:
Bring the kids down to Victoria for Lose & Find Victoria to join artist Bahbak Hashemi-Nezhad and the Delfina Foundation for a two-hour interactive art trail game around Victoria. The whole family can explore and map the new and changing face of Victoria. Working in small groups, participants will co-produce a limited edition and alternative map of Victoria – a copy of which you’ll get to keep.

Fashion fanatics are invited to Inside Out Victoria’s Curzon Fashion Film Event for a special screening of Bill Cunningham New York, the highly acclaimed NYC fashion scene documentary, followed by an exclusive Q&A between Kate Finnigan – Style Director of The Sunday Telegraph and columnist for Stella magazine – and Poppy Dinsey, fashion blogger, web entrepreneur and founder of WIWT to discuss the London fashion scene. This event offers the full fashion treatment complete with a goody bag and welcome cocktail courtesy of Harry Bromptons.

Cardinal Place Food Market vendors are also celebrating Inside Out Victoria on Saturday, 4th October with all of their fabulous culinary creations, so there’s no fear of going hungry between events. To complement the gastronomic delights, local drinks company Harry Brompton’s will be the official drinks partner, quenching the thirst of residents and visitors of Victoria with delicious premium alcoholic ice tea.
There’ll also be a range of hand-picked offers from shops and restaurants in Victoria throughout the weekend, so when you travel through SW1, step outside the station and experience a new Victoria.
