FASHION – Day in a Life of a Stylist
Style My is all about giving people the confidence through clothes whether it is by having a makeover or by becoming stylists themselves.
Style My was founded by the Director of UK’s premier personal styling company, Style Doctors, Elin Mai and Style Director of an international styling consultancy ID Couture, Tanja Mrnjaus. With over 20 years of combined experience and extensive knowledge of both high street and luxury retail, Elin Main and Tanja maintain in the industry as working stylists and managing style teams.
The concept behind Style My comes from the duo’s desire to connect real people and stylists with retailers and to make people fall in love with shopping again.
After seeing first hand that many of their clients feel like they are unrepresented and lose confidence in their look, Elin & Tanja want to inspire people and help them find their joy in shopping. They strongly believe that everyone deserves to look good whatever their age, shape, budget and lifestyle. Style My is about not what you wear, but how you style it.
On their newly launched site they will be presenting styleover challenges with everyday women and men to show how to style accessible high street and specialty clothes and accessories. With their years of experience dressing diverse clients the duo are confident that they can help draw more shoppers into the stores once again after they see clothes styled on people like themselves.
Style My will also be offering unique Day in a Life of a Stylist workshops aimed at aspiring stylists and anyone wanting to learn more about their style. Spend a day with Elin & Tanja during the workshop and cover all the essential elements on personal styling and shopping, this is a rare industry shadowing experience.
