LONDON EVENTS – Star Wars™ Identities: The Exhibition lands at The O2
The O2 are delighted to announce that the Star Wars™ Identities exhibition, which will continue its world tour in London at The O2 from 18 November 2016 to 3 September 2017, will be available to hire for corporate and private events.
For almost 40 years, audiences around the world have followed the adventures of Luke and Anakin Skywalker, cinema’s most famous father and son duo, and now a redefined modern exhibition experience will enable visitors to rediscover the unforgettable characters of Star Wars in a whole new way.
The ground-breaking exhibition explores the complex notion of identity through the characters of Star Wars and will feature an exclusive collection of 200 props, models, costumes and artwork from the original Star Wars films, as well as an interactive identity quest, and insightful scientific content.
Clients will be able to hire the space for corporate and private events of up to 300 guests, with themed event packages available via The London Kitchen. The themed food and drink menus will include Star Wars-inspired canapés, bowl food and desserts, with dishes such as beetroot and red cabbage galactic jelly, Monterey Jack Cheese and Ham Solo sandwich, Duck Matter quinoa salad, Milky Way caramel and honeycomb clusters and Darth by Chocolate.
Becci Thomson, Business Development Manager at The O2, says: “We are proud to present the Star Wars™ Identities exhibition as a brand new space for corporate events. The exhibition is a fantastic addition to our event spaces at the venue and follows the hugely successful Muhammad Ali exhibition, which was a popular option for drinks receptions and dinners.
“The Star Wars exhibition provides a totally unique location for entertaining and we are looking forward to working with clients on some out of this world events in the coming months.“
The exhibition has been developed and produced by Montreal’s X3 Productions in collaboration with Lucasfilm Ltd., and makes use of an extensive archive collection from the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art to explore the sciences of identity with one question: What forces shape you?
