MUSIC: There is nothing like the sound of a needle on a record
I used to be an avid music collector, especially with vinyl. With the introduction of CD’s and living abroad, for many years they were hidden away in a relative’s cupboard. As they take up lots of room and I had quite a few rare records, it made sense to put them up for sale. So one by one I went through them listing them, in doing so I found each record on youtube. Playing each, I fell in love with them all over again. I just couldn’t bare to part with them, so I dusted them off and made room for them. The only issue was, I had nothing to play them on, so I went in search of a new record player and chose a Lenco L-85.
Playing my records for the first time in over 10 years not only brought back memories, gave me goosebumps and put a huge smile on my face, the sound of the needle on the record was divine! There is something special about lifting that needle and placing it on the record. With the Lenco, you just hover it above the start of the record and a lever safely places the needle on your precious records. Instead of getting rid of my records, I actually bought a few more! Lenco enabled me to bring back the beautiful sound of vinyl into my house and now my son can grow up enjoying that sound too.
It is available in different colours to suit your décor, is great value for money and the sound is crisp. The player is a semi-automatic, belt-driven turntable with a built-in phono stage. It even supports USB recording.
So dust off those records and bring back the beautiful sound of vinyl back into your life.
